How does your artwork reflect the transformation of materials and/or the idea of identity?
Following neurosurgery to remove a brain tumour, I found myself disassociated from the world and had to find a route back for myself. It was craft making and techniques rather than the materials, these were the means that enabled me to make sense of the world again, and my place in it.
