CERAMICS / GLASS | LONDON
How does your technique bring out the hidden stories or emotions of the material you use?
In my practice, materials are not neutral. They carry weight, memory, and intent. Porcelain and glass are chosen not just for their physical properties, but for their emotional and symbolic resonance. Porcelain suggests purity, fragility, and transformation, while glass, especially when used with neon, introduces tension and fluidity. These materials serve as agents of meaning, central to my exploration of perception, stillness, and the ephemeral. Every crack, shadow, or glow becomes part of the narrative. By working slowly and attentively, I give space for the material to speak, revealing deeper reflections on time, vulnerability, and the poetics of the everyday.
