In 2025 Design-Nation presents thirteen impressive craftspeople at the Crafts Council’s Collect Fair, our fifth physical outing to this now essential international showcase of the best in contemporary craft, held in the beautiful surroundings of Somerset House.
Our 2025 cohort employ a diverse array of materials and disciplines to make intriguing decorative objects, many of which have been made especially for Collect. These makers test tensions between order and disorder, between human-formed and natural forms, between the newly created and the re-imagined past. Respect for material, shape and structure is paramount. Elements brought together in new and unexpected combinations create highly collectible objects for the twenty-first century.
