I am a embroidery artist based in Richmond upon Thames. My work is influenced by the colours and textures of the natural world, with Kew Gardens providing the inspiration for my debut range, ‘The Botanical Collection’. I have combined my love of monochrome pencil drawings with colourful hand embroidery and beading. My designs translate perfectly into a range of luxury wallpapers, fabrics and soft furnishings for a sophisticated space.
The Botanical Collection consists of four designs, three of which come in two different colourways. I have applied my designs to form a range of hand- embroidered artworks and decorative cushions. Also seen in my collection is a selection of cocktail chairs. This March I will be launching my first two decorative bone china wall plates.
Prior to founding my interiors line, I pursued a career in the fashion industry for 19 years, designing for large international companies, high street retailers, independent labels, agents and studios, and I sold my textile designs worldwide. During this time I was experimenting with materials like leather and paint, whilst learning crafts such as tapestry and machine embroidery.
All my designs are produced and printed in the UK onto high quality wallpaper, soft furnishing fabric and tableware.
