Working under the studio name Modern Ceramic, Stephen Cook creates contemporary ceramics inspired by Brutalist architecture, industrial design and the manufacturing heritage of Sheffield.
Combining wheel-thrown ceramics with materials including wood, metal and recycled plastics, Stephen transforms everyday functional objects into distinctive architectural forms. His work has been exhibited at Ceramic Art London, Future Icons and New Designers, and is stocked by leading contemporary craft galleries across the UK.
