Yiling Wu is a contemporary textile designer whose innovative practice reimagines embroidery through a cross-disciplinary approach.
Drawing on her Taiwanese heritage and specialist training in digital embroidery at London College of Fashion, Yiling combines traditional craftsmanship with experimental materials and contemporary design. Working across fashion, fine art and textile innovation, Yiling creates richly detailed pieces that challenge perceptions of embroidery while celebrating its enduring creative potential.
For Crafted Futures, Yiling will present new works inspired by the study of waves, a collection of wall-hung and 3D works which continue to explore her usual materials, structural embroidery and resin.
