Artist jeweller Ella Fearon-Low plunders the visual larder of the past to create delicious contemporary treasures in mixed materials. Influenced by decorative objects and the natural world her original shapes are layered from a range of sources. She won Goldsmiths’ Craft and Design Council Awards in 2018 and 2020 and her brooches were celebrated at the 2020 Goldsmiths’ Fair in a special selection by British Vogue.

“There was an imperative to create this pair of brooches. Not one but two. Their free-flowing liquid gold lines coming fast from my imagination. Part fire, part seaweed, part leaf. Caught in the middle a soft formal shape, a comforting decorative form adorned with a scatter of gold and pearls.”
